Dividing the frame.

Two examples where balance is obtained by different means.

The shot was taken at Nice Market.  In this shot the dominant feature was the brightly coloured fruit.  This I have tried to balancethis with the man in grey at the end of the stall.  Without him the picture would appear empty.  To give him a larger role on the picture would unbalance it.

The second picture is one of a girl attempting her first abseil.  I have attempted to balance the two main figures evenly about the centre line.  The thrust of her legs against the rock makes a neat shape.  I placed the guy at the bottom of the shot to give it scale and to emphasize the height of the rock.
